In 1993 we organized specifically for the benefit of the residents who utilize and live at the facility known today as Nashville Community Care & Rehabilitation Center at Bordeaux (formerly Bordeaux Long-Term Care and Bordeaux Hospital). We enjoy making life happen through events and projects which enhance the lives of the residents who utilize Bordeaux for rehabilitation and for those who permanently live at Bordeaux.
Constructed an outside Pavilion and surrounding garden which is wheel chair accessible and close to the facility entrances.
Constructed a covered entrance so that residents would be protected from the weather when transported from the facility.
The Memorial Foundation grant to build a secure, monitored outdoor area accessible to the Alzheimer’s/dementia unit to give residents the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors in a safe environment.
Piedmont Gas Company grant to update the resident computer room with all new computers and accessories.
